Hyderabad : The Telangana government began the third phase of its flagship 2BHK Housing Scheme/ double bedroom scheme on October 2, providing home ownership to 19,020 eligible families. As many as 44,020 houses were allocated in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area through this scheme in the past month. The flats will be distributed at nine different locations. The highest number of houses (6,067) will be allotted at Kollur-II, benefiting residents from areas like Kukatpally, Goshamahal, Nampally, Khairathabad, and Charminar. Flats in Dundigal and Rampally in the Medchal constituency will benefit residents of LB Nagar, Kukatpally, Quthbullapur, and other constituencies.
The 2BHK Housing Scheme in Telangana aims to provide affordable housing to economically weaker sections of society.
To apply for the 2BHK Housing Scheme in Telangana, eligible individuals can visit the official website of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
Eligible candidates can follow these steps:1. Obtain the application form either by downloading it online or visiting the nearest MeeSeva centre.
2. Complete the application form, ensuring that all required personal information is filled in, including any previous housing scheme details.
3. Attach necessary documents such as a passport-sized photograph, ration card, food security card, Aadhaar card, BPL card, and ASARA pension card.
4. Submit the completed application form along with the documents at either the nearby MeeSeva centre or the Gram Sabha office of your respective district. This process allows eligible individuals to apply for housing assistance under the scheme efficiently.
Eligibility for the TS Double Bedroom Sanction List 2023 includes candidates from BPL households with a Food Security Card bearing the names of the candidate and their spouse (in the case of a widow, widower, or physically challenged person)., individuals in huts, katcha houses, or rented accommodations, and the house is sanctioned in the name of the family's housewife.
Recipients will be chosen from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Minorities, with allocated quotas for each assembly constituency and district.
